Dr. Sundararajan was funny in a way we didn't expect from a gastroenterologist. She was blunt about the years of training and specifically about the stretch where you're exhausted and not yet good at anything. Most doctors we've talked to skip that part. She also talked about the patients who scared her early on and how she learned to say she wasn't sure instead of bluffing. For three kids who feel pressure to always sound confident, hearing an experienced physician say that admitting uncertainty is the professional move was genuinely useful.
