What we actually thought about this one

James works in criminal justice and he refused to make it sound like television. He talked about caseloads, about clients who don't call back, about the difference between what's fair and what the system will actually produce on a given day. There was no cynicism in it, just realism. The part that stayed with us was how he described the responsibility of representing someone who has no one else. It's heavy work and he clearly carries it. We came out of this with a much more grounded picture of law than anything a courtroom drama ever gave us.
