What we actually thought about this one
We assumed an allergy episode would be light and then it turned into one of the more practical conversations we've had. Dr. Sheth explained how much of his job is detective work, ruling things out patiently while a family is scared and wants an answer immediately. He was clear that a lot of medicine is managing expectations as much as managing symptoms. What we took away is that being good at a technical job still comes down to communication. If a patient doesn't understand the plan, the plan doesn't happen. That's true in almost every field we've covered.
