What we actually thought about this one

Austin went from an entry level job to Chief Revenue Officer at Rocket Mortgage, and he made the top of a company feel reachable without pretending it was easy. He kept saying the boring work is the audition, that people notice who handles the unglamorous stuff well. What surprised us was how much credit he gave to the people who coached him early, and how openly he said he's still being coached now. Confidence in his version isn't loud, it's consistent. We left this one asking each other whether we're actually coachable, with school, with sports, with this podcast. Probably less than we think.
